Minnesota Valley Veterinary Services

  Arlington Animal Clinic

Bringing your dog or cat to us for the first time

When you walk into either of our clinics, you will be greeted by our front desk staff, and they will check you in. If your pet has any previous medical history records, we would appreciate you bringing them with you to your first visit, or having them e-mailed to us at mnvalleyvet@gmail.com.  Having the previous medical history will help us provide the best possible care for your pet.

One of our veterinary technicians will take you into an exam room and discuss the details of the appointment with you.  After conferring with the technician about these details, the doctor will do a complete physical exam.  Then, they will discuss their findings with you and make recommendations about possible diagnostic testing, medication, or future procedures that will help promote your pet's best life. We're happy to answer any questions you may have and will give you any help that we can.

Bringing a large animal or horse to our clinics

If you are coming to our Le Sueur clinic (Minnesota Valley Veterinary Services), you can pull into our driveway and go the left side of the building where there is a large garage door.  You can park your trailer wherever is most convenient for you. Let the front desk staff know that you are here, either by stopping into the office on the right side of the building, or by calling us. One of our veterinary technicians will come out to meet you and help unload your animal. We have stocks, stalls, and a chute, so we can work with your animal safely.  The technician will get your animal situated appropriately so that the doctor can perform the exam and whatever procedures are necessary.

If you are coming to our Arlington location (Arlington Animal Clinic), you will find the large animal/equine entrance on Fourth Ave. NW, just north of the main street. Let the front desk staff know that you are here, either by stopping into the office at the front of the building, or by calling us. One of our veterinary technicians will come out to meet you and help unload your animal. We have stocks and a stall, so we can work with your animal safely. When we come to your location

When your animal can't come to us, we can go to them. We have all the necessary equipment to help your large animals while on your property. When we come out, we do require that you have the animal(s) contained and ready for their exams.  When you schedule your farm visit, please be very clear on what you want done and any products that you want us to bring. That way, we can schedule the time appropriately and provide you with the best service. If you don't have a chute for working with your cattle, we do have a portable chute that we can bring to your location.
