Meet our Doctors

Jessica Hafemann, DVM
Jessica is a 2007 graduate of the University of Minnesota. Growing up she was active in 4-H and worked at several horse farms west of the Twin Cities. She currently coaches 4-H Livestock Knowledge Bowl in Le Sueur county. In her free time she enjoys spending time at her hobby farm with her husband, their two sons, cows, horses, cats, and a dog. She also enjoys riding horses, gardening, and baking. In the beginning of 2022, Jessica became the sole owner of Minnesota Valley Veterinary Services and Arlington Animal Clinic. She spends the majority of her time at our Le Sueur clinic.

Sam Baker, DVM
Sam is a 2022 graduate from Iowa State University. He grew up in Southwestern Minnesota. He is interested in working with both large and small animals. His favorite part about veterinary medicine is the continuous learning opportunities, new advances in medicine, and making connections with clients. In his free time, Sam enjoys camping, canoeing, hiking, and spending time with his fiancee and their two dogs, Kildee and Friley.

Emily Miller, DVM
Emily is a 2023 graduate of the University of Minnesota. She grew up in Ohio, but has been in Minnesota since 2019. Her favorite aspects of veterinary medicine are dentistry, behavior, and building relationships with both patients and clients. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and spending time with her husband and their 4 dogs: Misha, Nikita, Tikaani, and Kaskae.
Meet our Technicians

Kelsey, CVT
Kelsey lives with her significant other, Stephen, and their two daughters Willow and Remi. She went to college and obtained her Bachelor’s degree at University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire in Communications and Environmental Science. She has always been passionate about animals and decided to attend Argosy University for Veterinary Technology. She graduated from Argosy in 2014 and immediately passed her boards to be a certified veterinary technician. Kelsey spends most of her time enjoying the company of her family and loves to go up north to the family lake house. Kelsey is our head technician at our Le Sueur clinic.

Anna, VT
Anna lives just outside of Glencoe with her husband Tim who farms. She graduated from Ridgewater College in Willmar with associate degree of Veterinary Technology in 2014. She has been working in the veterinary field since 2013 and loves the new challenges and how every day is something new. In her free time, she enjoys shopping, being outside and helping out around the farm. Anna’s “fur kids” include 3 dogs, 4 cats, 2 rabbits, 4 fainting goats, a flock of chickens, a herd of cows, and a pony! Her two daughters are her "real kids" and Anna is loving being a mother and watching her girls grow. Anna works part time at our Arlington clinic.

Kellee, CVT
Kellee grew up in Green Isle, Minnesota and still resides there after purchasing her family's farm in December of 2020. She completed her veterinary technician degree at Ridgewater college and graduated in 2012. Shortly after she sat for her boards to become a certified veterinary technician. Outside of work she enjoys spending time on her farm with her four horses, her dog, and a handful of cats and chickens. Kellee joined our team in 2021 and works out of our Arlington clinic.

Grace, VT
I am currently in the Penn-Foster program to receive certification. I have two dogs (Scout and Finn) and 2 cats (Daisy and Goose). I just recently moved to Janesville with my fiance. I have been in the veterinary field my whole life. My grandpa and my dad were/are vets and I basically grew up in a vet clinic. I am excited to start this new chapter here at MVVS.

Riley, CVT
Riley graduated from Ridgewater College in Wilmar with an AAS degree in Veterinary Technology in 2024 and became a Certified Veterinary Technician shortly after. She grew up with horses, cats, and dogs. She enjoys trap shooting, fishing, crocheting, and spending time on her family dairy farm.

Keri, VT
Keri is currently attending Penn Foster online school for veterinary technology. She has worked as a vet assistant for over 3 years. Growing up, she attended FFA and 4H, showing cattle with friends and family. In her free time, she enjoys reading, fishing, and helping on her family’s dairy farm.

Madison L. CVT
Madison grew up in Green Isle Minnesota. She had completed Veterinary Technician degree at Ridgewater College and graduated in 2024. Shortly after graduation, she passed her boards to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. Madison loves spending time with her two guinea pigs, Scooter and Zoomer, as well as her dog, Luna. Madison works full time at the Arlington Animal Clinic.
Meet our office staff

Lyle, Practice Manager
Lyle joined our team in April of 2019 as our Practice Manager. He lives on a farm near Young America with his dog, Annie. Lyle has 17 years of experience in all aspects of veterinary clinic management and considers it a privilege to be involved with the great doctors and staff at Minnesota Valley Veterinary Services and Arlington Animal Clinic. For fun, Lyle operates Countryside Feed and manages commercial real estate. You can always reach him when needed, either can track it down to handle any client concerns 24/7.

Dani, Inventory Specialist and CVT
Dani graduated from the veterinary technician program at Ridgewater College in Wilmer in 2009. She has been a certified veterinary technician ever since, spending much of her career with us here at Minnesota Valley Veterinary Services. While still a licensed CVT, Dani has moved into a more managerial role within the clinic. She enjoys showing horses and beef cows with her family, and spending time outside with her husband and dog, Hobbs. Dani works out of our Arlington location primarily and at our Le Sueur location one day a week.

Jenny, Receptionist
Jenny lives in Arlington with husband Tony. They have three boys and three dogs. In her spare time she enjoys camping, fishing, watching her boys wrestle, and spending time with family. Jenny works at our Arlington Clinic where she is our head receptionist.

Sally, Receptionist
Sally graduated in 2005 from the Minnesota School of Business with a degree in veterinary technology. She has worked in several clinics over the past 12 years (including MVVS!). After leaving the profession for a short two years, she has come back to clinic work as one of our receptionists. Sally lives outside of Le Sueur with her husband, Gaylan, on his family's farm place. Outside of work, she enjoys gradually updating the farmhouse and doing various needle crafts. Sally and her husband have one cat who is affectionately referred to as "The Girlfriend". Sally works full time at our Le Sueur location.

Madison A, Receptionist
Madison lives on a 4th generation Holstein dairy cow farm outside of Arlington. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin River Falls with a bachelors in Dairy Science in December of 2022. She is very passionate about raising cows. Madison enjoys feeding calves, showing open class cows, and training cows. Madison started at the Arlington Animal Clinic as a receptionist in June of 2022, but now works full time at the Le Sueur location. Madison and her husband, Tyler, own a dilute tortie cat named Josie.

Lauren, Receptionist
Lauren lives with her husband Michael along with her fur babies Monte and Kiwi in Gaylord. She went to college at SMSU and graduated in 2021 with a degree in Education Studies. Growing up, Lauren was very involved in FFA and 4H where she showed dogs, rabbits and dairy goats. She also trains the 4-H dog projects, and specializes in agility. She joined the Arlington Animal Clinic in fall of 2021.

Mary, Receptionist
Mary lives in Le Sueur Minnesota with her husband Jeff. They have 3 married children and 7 grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys visiting family, volunteering, crocheting, and embroidery. She works at the Le Sueur location.

Pumpkin, Office Supervisor
Pumpkin joined the staff of MVVS in January of 2025. She was a stray barn cat who was brought to us so that we could find her a permanent home. One of our technicians decided to take her home, but Pumpkin decided that it would be much more fun to stay at the Le Sueur clinic and keep an eye on all of us.
